If you haven\u2019t been to the office before, allow an extra 15 mins to make sure you find the building. Make sure you arrive at the building with a few mins to spare.<\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h4><b><strong>Check the dress code<\/strong><\/b> in advance. Nobody wants to turn up in a\u00a0<b><strong>Metallica tee-shirt\u00a0<\/strong><\/b>if everybody else is in a business suit (or vice versa).<\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h4><b><strong>First impressions coun<\/strong><\/b>t. A big smile, eye-contact and a firm handshake go a long way to projecting confidence.Showing enthusiasm will let them know that you\u2019re excited and serious about your new role.<\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h4>Make a point of introducing yourself to\u00a0<b><strong>colleagues<\/strong><\/b>\u00a0and finding out who does what.It\u2019s great to\u00a0<b><strong>break the ice<\/strong><\/b>.
